Executive, Quality Assurance

Job Summary

To monitor and ensure that the cake and cream roll products produced complies with the company's in house specification and are safe for consumption and to investigate and revert the customer complaint report to Customer Care according to the agreed timeframe.  
 

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in GMP inspection, internal audit program, validation and other quality system and food safety activity or programed to ensure effectiveness of quality system and continue improvement. 
  • Participate in the regulatory and external audit on Quality related issue. 
  • To provide technical training related to GMP and food safety to the relevant employees. 
  • To prepare and ensure written document such as Work Instruction, specification, test method, sampling plan forms, etc. which may impact product quality and safety are in place and maintain properly and initiate periodic review of this document. 
  • To monitor and ensure the implementation and full compliance of the Work Instruction, Quality Plan and Technical Standards and Specifications. 
  • To coordinate and participate in customer complaint investigation including report and update of customer complaint / customer feedback master list. 
  • To ensure that the products produced complies with the company's quality standard and regulation requirement. 
  • To monitor and ensure that line inspection and product testing are preformed according to sampling plan and on timely manner. 
  • To prepare trend analysis for lab test result and analyze the data. 
  • To coordinate on the release quarantine and reject the in process and finished product. 
  • To ensure that non-conformances are handled as per non-conformance procedure and to issue Corrective Action Request (CAR) if required. 

 

Education and Qualification

  • At least Degree in Science, Food Technologies, Food Science, Food Chemistry or equivalence. 
  • Minimum 1 year working experience preferable in food industries. 

 

Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge

  • Good knowledge in GMP, HACCP and FSSC 22000. 
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office. 
  • Able to work within a team and work independently. 
  • Able to work on shift rotation basis.
