Job Summary 

To assist Specialist, Engineering / Assistant Engineer, Maintenance in ensuring the flour milling production system, equipment, tools and building structure in the company are kept in good order. 

Responsibilities

• To carry out preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and breakdown maintenance 
• Upkeep of door closer, door locks, windows, plastering and painting works, plumbing works 
• To assist in projects that are contracted out 
• To carry out in-house projects as assigned by Head of Engineering / Assistant Head of Engineering. 
• To assist in managing the inventory of spare parts for flour milling, tools etc. 
• To assist Specialist, Engineering / Assistant Engineer, Maintenance in physical measurement of product level in silos, grain bins, raw wheat bins, pre-tempering and tempering bins, flour bins etc. 
• To assist Specialist, Engineering / Assistant Engineer, Maintenance in ensuring the Safety & Health of the workplace practices is being carry out. 
• To assist Specialist, Engineering / Assistant Engineer, Maintenance in ensuring the firefighting system in the company are kept in good order i.e. firefighting pumps 
• To ensure good housekeeping at Workshop, Spare Part Room, Pump House, Compressor Room and as assigned by Specialist, Engineering / Assistant Engineer, Maintenance. 

Education & Qualification 

Minimum SPM 

Relevant Experience & Years of Service 

Minimum 2 years of working experience in a maintenance work 

Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge 

• Knowledge of maintenance skills  
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet navigation 

Competencies 

Able to complete task with minimal supervision
