Job Summary

● Responsible for ensuring flour production adheres to customer specifications and for maintaining optimal flour extraction rates.

Job Responsibilities

● Monitor mill performance and maintain optimal mill balance

● Supervise and provide guidance to the senior miller and mill technician

● Monitor and ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the plant

● Review and verify production documentation and checklists for accuracy and completeness

● Identify and implement process efficiency improvements within the mill.

● Monitor, investigate, and resolve plant operation stoppages and equipment breakdowns."

● Monitor and assess equipment condition to ensure optimal performance and prevent failures."

● Ensure production staff adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety work procedures.

● Source suppliers and obtain quotations for necessary materials and services

● Contributes to production order management and planning.

● Ensures production complies with all applicable food safety standards

● Develop and implement plans for wheat conditioning and flour milling processes

Education & Qualification

● Minimum Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification recognised.

Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge

● Flour milling industries – 2 years

● Good reasoning power and proactive.

● Interpersonal skill
