Job Summary

  • Provides legal and compliance support to the Group by managing contract administration and assisting with compliance reporting in accordance with applicable laws, internal policies, and designated guidelines.
  • The role supports end-to-end legal documentation processes and ensures timely and accurate compliance deliverables.

 

Job Description

Legal

  • Assist in contract administration, including maintaining, updating, tracking, and organising legal agreements and documents
  • Support the end-to-end contract process, including preparation, review, execution, filing, and renewal tracking
  • Assist in reviewing contracts, agreements, and legal documents to ensure completeness and compliance with internal templates and guidelines.
  • Maintain contract registers and ensure accurate record-keeping of executed agreements.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain required information and follow up on documentation status.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Legal & Compliance team on assigned matters.

Compliance

  • Assist in compliance reporting and documentation in accordance with designated internal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Support periodic compliance submissions, declarations, and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain compliance records, logs, and supporting documents for audit and reference purposes.
  • Assist in monitoring compliance timelines and reminders.
  • Support implementation of internal policies and procedures by tracking acknowledgements and updates.

General

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Manager, Legal & Compliance.
  • Support day-to-day legal and compliance operations as required.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification recognized in Malaysia.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a legal, compliance, corporate secretarial, or related role, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Exposure to contract administration, legal documentation, or compliance reporting is an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of contract management and legal documentation processes.
  • Basic knowledge of corporate compliance requirements and internal control frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage and maintain records, trackers, and documentation systematically.
  • Willingness to learn and develop legal and compliance knowledge.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools and databases (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw)
