Senior Executive, Quantity Surveyor

Join the largest cinema exhibitor and leading film distributor in Malaysia! You will play an important role in:

1. Financial Management (Budget, Tender and Procurement)

  • Assist in pre-contract documentations including co-ordinate in tender process, follow up on tender, lead on cost study preparation for every trade involved in contract, gather contractors’ and supplier’s quotations.
  • Assist in contract administrations including pre-tender contract review on specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and contractual requirements.
  • Assist in pre-qualify contractors/suppliers, call tender, monitor tender submission process, and ensure completeness, compliance and consistency.
  • Oversee post-contract documentations including compiling of contractors quote for management approval.
  • Evaluate variation orders claims and settlement of final account.
  • Assist in procurement administration for projects, source, liaise and negotiate pricing with supplier and sub-contractor, manage on-time ordering of FFE for project implementation & completion.
  • Assist in project budget control and tracking of expenditures including prepare cost report. 
  • Assist in new project development and management including budgeting, implementation and extension/ renovation for existing outlet. 
  • Support business development team in feasibility studies for new site evaluation and budget estimation.


2. Project Management (New Site & Major Refurbishment)

  • Assist to plan, organise and manage all project related matter for fit out/renovation of outlet.
  • Facilitate client consultant meeting, review and coordinate drawings with various consultants, monitor design work progress including timeline for authorities’ submission, tender and issuance of construction drawing.
  • Collaborate and liaise closely with mall management/ developer, various consultants, suppliers, & internal HOD to drive the fit out/renovation project through all phases to completion.
  • Assist to ensure the project is executed timely, within budget and in accordance to the contractual requirement in respect of quality and specifications.
  • Conduct site briefing to coordinate fit out/renovation work programme, technical & site matters 
  • Liaise with authority and consultants to obtain the requisite approvals within the appropriate time frame, prepare information required for permit applications.
  • Assist to recruit and monitor specialists, main contractors, and sub-contractors and to ensure guidelines are maintained and comply to design requirements. 
  • Assist to evaluate and approve FFE specification and shop drawings submitted by suppliers, main contractor and NSC. 
  • Collate and files all relevant approvals, permits, as built drawings and warranty. Handover to maintenance team once project completed.


3. General Administration

  • Assist in develop and implement policies, guideline, SOP and relevant checklist as required in order to strengthen the project management and administration.
  • Prepare & compile cinema build cost.
  • Support leasing team by liaise with landlord on technical matters.
  • Support operation team by collaborating with suppliers/contractors on renovation works and conducting technical training to cinema managers.
  • Manage, upkeep, and archive all project related data, documents and files. 
  • Support overseas project developments.
