Specialist, Project | Damansara Jaya, Selangor. 

Job Summary:

Provides support to the Planning & Design team in architecture layout, interior design look & feel, signage, including design drawings with consultants in building a practical & attractive cinema fit-out within the budget and timeline assigned.

Job Responsibilities: 

1. Act as coordinator & point of communication to external consultants, contractors and internal relevant department.
2. Perform site recce and conduct feasibility study on new site and research on latest market needs to identify business opportunities
3. Follow up with landlord’s consultants to obtain the requisite approvals within the appropriate time frame, gather and prepare information for permit applications.
4. Facilitate outlets renovation activities, ensure all necessary documents and drawings are submitted and approved prior to commence work.
5. Assist in develop preliminary architecture layout, interior look and feel, shop front/ façade design, furniture, signage design & etc.
6. Assist in collaborate and liaise with internal cross function departments.
7. Liaise with authority and consultants to obtain the requisite approvals within the appropriate time frame, prepare information required for permit application.
8. Collate and files all relevant approvals, permits and as built drawings.
9. Assist in research and developments for cinema FFE
10. Manage, upkeep and archive all projects related data, documents and files.

Job Requirement:

• Possess at least Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in related field.
• Good working knowledge of architecture and interior design in retail.
• Positive attitude, resourceful, able to work independently and a strong team player.
• Pro-active with excellent communication and liaison skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop, Microsoft Suites including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
