TECHNICIAN

JOB SUMMARY: 

 

The incumbent performs his role in support of the Centre Manager and Chargeman to ensure smooth running of the mall’s M&E operations including corrective and preventive measures for the proper upkeeping and maintenance of all facilities and equipment by monitoring, checking and reporting all works and routine services carried out by internal and external parties at the mall.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Perform preventive maintenance including monitoring of contractors and service providers with the focus on compliance to rules and regulations for the smooth running of mall operations.
  • Attends to all complaints, requests and support from internal and external stakeholders by organizing and arranging all coordinated support services and cross-functional activities to ensure all issues are resolved promptly.
  • Performing routine checks of HVAC & Chiller System, sewage piping’s, water pumps, and all other M&E tools and equipment as preventive measures to minimize breakdowns and repair costs.
  •  Performs daily checking and monitoring of utility meters and taking of readings for monthly billing and record analysis to ensure costs efficiency and profitability.
  • Performs all other ad-hoc and emergency support activities assigned by the Centre Manager as and when necessary.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS: 

 

  • Preferably with Certificate / Diploma in Engineering or related fields. Those with the relevant working experience may be considered
  • 2-3 years in similar capacity in knowledge of engineering. Knowledge in electrical system is an added advantage.
  • Building Management System, Air Conditioning (Centralised Chilled Water System), Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Safety System, OSHA and all other building/mall management operations
