Job Responsibilities:

  • To ensure all mechanical equipment at the farm are working at optimum level, used and operating in a safe manner at all times.
  • To ensure all farm electrical equipment are tested and maintained constantly to prevent failure of the poultry environmental control and associated systems.
  • To ensure all power generators, including backups, are maintained at optimal levels (fuel, engine oil, cooling system, etc.), for fail-safe power supply to all poultry houses and at the Farm.
  • To ensure all plumbing, including upkeep of pipes, (above ground) piping markers, water treatment plants and chemicals used, reservoir tanks and ponds, cooling pads, emergency firefighting equipment’s, wiring etc. are well managed and operating in a safe manner at all times.
  • To ensure continuous supply of clean safe water for both poultry and human consumption.
  • To ensure the maintenance team is well-trained, motivated and cooperative, while always practicing safety rules and regulations at all times.
  • To install or fabricate any hardware or mechanical equipment as and when instructed by the Farm Manager.
  • Plan, organize and implement a comprehensive program (including both corrective and preventive activities) to ensure smooth operation all mechanical and electrical installation.
  • Attend to mechanical and electrical breakdown, troubleshooting and provide regular monthly or yearly maintenance.
  • Prepare and submit reports related to assign job function.

 

Education & Qualification

  • Candidate must possess at least A0 Ceritificate (Perakuan Kekompetenan sebagai Penjaga Jentera)

 

Relevant Experience & Years of Service

  •  Minimum 3 years’ experience

 

Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge

  •  Able to carry out maintenance of electrical generator sets.
  • Display a high degree of accuracy, attention to details and the discipline to follow up outstanding matters.
  • Detail-oriented, good interpersonal skills, team player and possesses self-initiative.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with employees and stakeholders.
  • Experienced in executing and improving procedures.
  • Able to engage in a professional and collaborative manner with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Well verse in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in SAP environment, Microsoft Outlook, Team and OneDrive is an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
