Job Summary

Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business process owners, key users, consultants and project managers, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Participate in post-implementation reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas of improvement and optimizations.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with SAP functional team and/or business process owners to develop system/solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Conduct and support unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing as well as post implementation support.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT solutions, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications and user guide. Ensure that documentation is accurate, up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide SAP ERP application support and manage escalation process of issues to L2 and L3 team (SAP consultants)
  • Manage change request and ensure all changes comply to change management policy
  • All employees are expected to demonstrate a flexible approach in the delivery of work within the department.  They are required to be proactive members of the team and work closely with all other members to ensure both timely and best outcomes are achieved for all stakeholders.  To support this approach, all employees may be required to work with external and internal partners, work across formal lines of accountability and perform duties not specifically identified in the job description but which are in line with the general level of responsibility of the post.  Support ad-hoc project work and provide expertise where necessary as well as undertake any other assignments as may be assigned from time to time.

Education & Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information technology or related field.

 

Relevant Experience & Years of Service

  • Proven experience (1 year +) working as Solution architecture/application support, preferably in ERP system
  • Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge
  • Software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
