Job Summary

Responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in the poultry farm. Ensure equipment, generators, water systems, and farm facilities operate efficiently and safely, while managing the maintenance team and maintaining proper records.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain mechanical equipment at optimal performance and ensure safe operation.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and farm machinery.
• Monitor and maintain power generators (including backups) for fail-safe operation.
• Supervise plumbing systems, water treatment plants, reservoirs, ponds, cooling pads, and firefighting equipment.
• Ensure continuous supply of clean and safe water for poultry and human use.
• Perform duties as a Chargeman; must hold a valid A4 Chargeman Certificate.
• Manage, train, and motivate the maintenance team while enforcing safety regulations.
• Fabricate, install, or modify equipment as instructed.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of maintenance and farm operations.

Person Specifications:

Education & Qualification:

• Diploma / Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Valid A4 Chargeman Certificate (Suruhanjaya Tenaga).

Relevant Experience & Year of Service:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance (poultry farm or industrial environment preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Knowledge of farm equipment, generators, ventilation, and water systems.

Working Conditions:

• Based at poultry farm, required standby duty and emergency response.
