Manager, Business & Data Analyst

This person will support the department by analysing marketing and sales performance data to drive informed decision-making. By providing timely data insights and actionable recommendations, the incumbent helps optimise efficiency, enhance product availability, and support business growth across the organization.
 
Responsibilities 
  • Conduct performance analysis, prepare reports and evaluate current performance trends.
  • Perform deep-dive assessments to identify root causes of performance gaps and recommend improvements across production, distribution, and sales processes.
  • Develop and propose strategies that enhance efficiency, cost effectiveness, and overall operational productivity.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer insights, and new opportunities. Develop business cases and feasibility assessments for new products, innovations, and commercial initiatives.
  • Advise management on performance risks, strategic decisions, and improvement opportunities aligned with company objectives.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Model and uphold the company’s culture, values, and ethical standards, inspiring trust and accountability at all levels.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and collaboration in supporting group-wide initiatives and cross-functional projects.
  • Undertake special assignments and additional responsibilities as delegated by senior management from time to time.  
 
Qualification, Experience & Skills
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in economics, actuarial, mathematics, statistics, or similar quantitative field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Excel, PowerBI, Tableau
  • Ability to understand and convert data into business insights and recommendations.
