Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team, including mechanics and general laborers.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all farm equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and infrastructure to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and oversee repairs to minimize downtime.
• Manage inventory of tools, parts, and maintenance supplies, ensuring timely ordering and stocking.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices, promoting a culture of safety among staff.
• Train and mentor maintenance personnel on best practices and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the Farm Manager to prioritize maintenance projects and budgets.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services as needed.

Person Specifications:

Education & Qualification

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Relevant Experience & Years of Service

•Minimum 2 years’ experience at poultry farming or livestock management

Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge

• Possess positive working attitude, hardworking and able to work independently with minimum supervision.

• Display a high degree of accuracy, attention to details and the discipline to follow up outstanding matters

• Detail-oriented, good interpersonal skills, team player and possesses self-initiative

• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
